My first wedding-related gift

So lately it seems like I've been moaning and complaining about how hard wedding planning was at the beginning, with the necessity of the wedding binder and the drama of picking a date.

I'm sure you're all like "Come on, Miss P, where's something fun and shiny?"

I've got you, boo.  Truth is, that's exactly how I felt at the beginning of wedding planning: so much stress, so little fun.  So when my sweet sister, MOH Curls, gifted me my first wedding-related present for my birthday at the end of December I had to smile and breathe a sigh of relief.

She found my cute little blue "I Do" shoe stickers at Francesca's (you know among all those awesome cutesy little gifts they have?) and included it in my birthday present among some other goodies.

These little stickers were a reminder that this whole process is supposed to be fun.  And it reminded me that other people are as excited to see this happen as we are and that maybe I should chill out a little.  They'll make for some cute pictures too, like getting ready pictures or something romantic with my new hubby.

But, being the girl that I am, I couldn't just leave it there.  I started over-analyzing.

Oh no - which way is right?

Seriously, this problem plagued me for a little while.  I guess it absolutely doesn't matter since a total of zero-point-zero people will even see the bottom of my shoes.  But still, I think I like the last option best since it would mean that the words are in order from left to right and facing the right way when I stand.  And it would bother me if the words on my feet were "backward."

Of course, I could always just take the picture holding them, and then it doesn't matter which foot has which.

I also found some of these when looking around for inspiration pictures - bling for Sphinx too!

He said that he'd be willing to wear them, and his preference was towards the ones that say "Me Too" over the "She's Mine" versions that we found.

So there we are - I had my something blue, and something unnecessary to fret about!  I had become a full-fledged bride once I received these little guys!

Which way do you think is the best way to wear the "I Do" stickers? Did you do anything else creative for the bottoms of you shoes or did you skip on that?
